Mark
Mosher, Managing Partner
Mark Mosher is a Managing Partner of the eSteel Design-Build Group.
His vision and leadership have been the driving force behind the success
and growth of the company. Serving as both the Managing Partner of eSteel
and the General Manager of AmFab, Inc., his primary role has been to manage
the day-to-day operations of Amfab and dtl’s.
Mark enjoys a reputation as a true "visionary" in the
steel industry. His role as the principal “architect” of a
process that offers a comprehensive range of steel construction services
and detailing solutions has revolutionized the steel construction industry
from coast to coast. He has implemented state-of-the-art technology
that few companies in the world utilize in a completely digital process to
facilitate structural engineering, detailing, fabrication and erection from
a single point of contact.
Mark has served in an advisory capacity for numerous steel fabricators as
well as the American Institute of Steel Construction. His vision and
ongoing contributions to the steel industry have been vast.
Chris Youngblood, P.E., Managing
Partner
Chris Youngblood is a Managing Partner of eSteel Design-Build Group. Mr.
Youngblood is the driving force behind the process that takes structural
steel projects through design, detailing and fabrication completely
digitally. Chris has been instrumental in the revolution of the steel
industry through promotion of its benefits and education of its
practitioners.
In addition to his responsibilities with eSteel, Chris is President and CEO
of Chavez-Grieves Consulting Engineers, Inc. He directs the day-to-day
operations of the firm and is Principal in-Charge and Project Manager for a
variety of structural design projects. Mr. Youngblood’s experience
includes project management and structural engineering on various types of
design projects for commercial, institutional, educational, medical,
industrial, and governmental facilities. Chris is involved in various
aspects of administration and management, including budgeting and
development of project fees and schedule management, schematic design
through construction administration.
Scott Heatly, P.E., Managing
Partner
Scott Heatly, Chief Production Officer, Vice
President and Principal, has been with CG since 1992. He has worked as a
member of the eSteel team, coordinating the structural design of several of
our high profile office buildings including the Bureau of Indian Affairs
Office Building, Nexus 9th and G Condominium, Ventana Real
Office Building.
Scott has designed projects utilizing steel, stainless steel, aluminum,
concrete, pre-stressed concrete, masonry, and timber. Mr. Heatly’s
experience in designing structures to meet seismic code criteria include
educating the city leaders of San Diego on the value of implementing a
high-end BRB lateral system supporting Nexus 9th & G Condominium, the
first steel condominium for the city in 30 years. Scott was also the
Project Manager and lead Structural Engineer on the Ventana Real Office
building in southern California
which was recognized by the Real Estate & construction Review to be a
recipient of the Building of America Award 2007.
David Grieves, P.E., Managing
Partner
David Grieves, P.E., has been practicing structural engineering for 28
years and serves as Chairman of the Board, Chief Marketing Officer and a
founding partner in the firm of Chavez-Grieves. Dave's expertise includes
the utilization of a wide variety of building materials in the design and
construction of private and public sector facilities. For the past
28-years, Dave has provided structural design of mid-rise structures,
mixed-use development, health care facilities, schools, universities,
research laboratories, military bases, office and retail facilities,
correctional facilities, sports arenas and public parks, municipal buildings,
manufacturing plants, computer processing centers, hotels and dormitories,
and private housing.
Dave is actively involved in the design/build industry and is a former
National Vice President with the American Consulting Engineers Council. He
received his BS degree in Architecture/Engineering from the University of Texas
at Austin.
Steve Bauer, P.E., S.E., Team
Leader
Steve Bauer is a managing partner of eSteel Design-Build Group, llc. A
native of Pennsylvania,
Bauer comes to Chavez-Grieves following 6 years with BSA Life Structures of
Indianapolis, Indiana. During his time at BSA, he served as Structural
Engineer of record and was involved in complete project and client
management. Significant projects in Indiana
include the Indiana Heart Hospital
and The St. Francis Cardiac and Vascular
Care Center.
From 1996 to 2000, Mr. Bauer served as project manager in Las Vegas, Nevada
for Martin & Peltyn, Inc. Significant projects include the
Bellagio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas,
the Las Vegas Convention Center Expansion, and the Showcase Mall in Las Vegas. Steve
Bauer brings his entertainment and healthcare experience to the eSteel
Design-Build group as a team leader. He is currently working on the
new Buffalo Thunder Casino and Resort in Pojoaque New Mexico. His work extends from
the engineering of complicated gaming facilities, to project and client
management.
Steve Vasquez, P.E., Team Leader
Mr. Vasquez has
been at Chavez-Grieves since 2002, working successfully as a structural
engineer for our design-build process.
His role with in the Chrome Team as a project engineer and lead
structural engineer has secured the tight schedule of many eSteel
Design-Build projects. He has been involved in various aspects of structural
engineering, including steel, CMU, tilt-up, concrete. Mr. Vazquez’s
engineering experience includes healthcare projects, casinos, hotels and
various commercial office buildings. He worked as a structural engineer on
the BEST OF 2005 winner, Mercy
Gilbert Medical
Center. Mr. Vasquez follows projects from design
through construction phases, providing excellent customer service, highly
accurate and constructible designs all while maintaining a tight schedule.
